About Obsidian

We are the part of the job the client never sees.

Obsidian Distributions is a South African trade distributor supplying installers and system integrators. We work with people whose reputation is attached to the equipment they fit, which is why we sell a short list of brands we can actually support rather than a long one we cannot.

  • Stock and lead times

    AJAX is held in local stock. The rest of the portfolio ships directly from our suppliers, typically 1 to 7 business days depending on the product and where you are. We confirm the lead time on every order before you quote your client.

  • Technical support

    Technical and presales support is handled in house by engineers with real field experience. When you call, you are speaking to someone who understands the equipment, the application, and what actually happens on site.

  • Warranty and RMA

    Warranty and RMA stay with the manufacturer, but we manage the process on your behalf. You deal with us, not a support address.
